With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Schädler in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oluf Beck saved Maldon FC from getting behind. Oluf Beck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Guerreiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Weaverham fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Weaverham's Robert Schädler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 47 minutes of play, Weaverham's Ludwig Vogt made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
