After a rather tough play, Looe FC's Valente Blumer got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Valentin Tscherfinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Markus Baumann got free with Mauritz Barbey in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Markus Baumann's late challenge caught a Looe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Markus Baumann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, Cricklewood AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Baumann to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Gerold Baumeister shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Hildebrandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Looe FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
