In the 14th minute Arman Ilımlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Wachter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Benjamin Ballweber reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Damian Hosu. The goal made the score 1-1. Marcus Wachter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arman Ilımlı in the 23rd minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Radoslaw Golota notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Muron Union's Marcus Wachter. Marcus Wachter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Muron Union:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bendern:s goal. Radoslaw Golota walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Radoslaw Golota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Marcus Wachter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Muron Union's goal looked a bit too open when Radoslaw Golota came free, but Marcus Wachter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Wachter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoslaw Golota, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Bendern were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arman Ilımlı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcus Wachter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arman Ilımlı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arman Ilımlı in the 53rd minute of play forced Muron Union's goalkeeper Marcus Wachter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radoslaw Golota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Marcus Wachter made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling János Gere in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Wachter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arman Ilımlı succeeded in the game's 59th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. In the 62nd minute of the match, János Gere got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcus Wachter was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Radoslaw Golota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Wachter having to interfere. Radoslaw Golota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Marcus Wachter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans-Adam Erne helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Muron Union's Hans-Adam Erne got a free kick in the 74th minute. Yasar Spescha hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes, Sebastian Hirsch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bendern and the Muron Union players grew even worse after the yellow card. Muron Union's Benjamin Ballweber got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arman Ilımlı in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Wachter saved Muron Union from getting behind. With a little luck, Muron Union's Marcus Wachter got control of the ball when Radoslaw Golota tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bendern's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
