The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bude City's Detlef Banda got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute, Victor Frick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niccolo Roy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 9 played minutes Wootton Bassett City got a freekick which was hit by Victor Frick. Niccolo Roy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoni Thöny, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Heinz Negele came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Wootton Bassett City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heinz Negele couldn't finish the play. Wootton Bassett City's Victor Frick was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bude City's zone, Thomas Batliner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niccolo Roy came out of the goal and Thomas Batliner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fredi Schädler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niccolo Roy having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Frick to make the kick off. Kain Fischer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fredi Schädler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Niccolo Roy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Frick struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Niccolo Roy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wootton Bassett City. Wootton Bassett City's Antonio Zurflüh got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victor Frick might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niccolo Roy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Frick ran back to his position shaking his head. If Thomas Batliner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niccolo Roy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Thöny in the 65th minute of play. After 67 minutes Bude City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Noah Amadeo Bürzle who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Wootton Bassett City's corner Noah Amadeo Bürzle fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Niccolo Roy quite easily take care of the ball. Antoni Thöny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niccolo Roy having to interfere. Thomas Batliner took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niccolo Roy. Niccolo Roy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Thomas Batliner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 played minutes Bude City got a freekick which was hit by Havel Zäch. Kain Fischer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Vincente Vazquez made a huge save. Fredi Schädler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Niccolo Roy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Frick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niccolo Roy having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Thomas Batliner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Niccolo Roy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Victor Frick came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Wootton Bassett City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Frick couldn't finish the play. If Thomas Batliner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Wootton Bassett City players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
