In the 16th minute Gerold Baumeister shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Vazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauritz Barbey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Frick's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 27 minutes into the match, Wootton Bassett City's Pascal Gschwentner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauritz Barbey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32ndth minute of the game Victor Frick who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Looe FC's Mauritz Barbey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Wootton Bassett City fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Wootton Bassett City's Victor Frick looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Wootton Bassett City booed when Looe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Straub didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Frick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mauritz Barbey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Batliner might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauritz Barbey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Batliner ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerold Baumeister made a kick off. Wootton Bassett City were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Looe FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Noah Amadeo Bürzle took the corner. Constantine Nolle kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Victor Frick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Frick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antoni Thöny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Batliner struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Mauritz Barbey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wootton Bassett City. Victor Frick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauritz Barbey having to interfere. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Victor Frick sped through Looe FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mauritz Barbey. If Thomas Batliner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauritz Barbey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Frick, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Antoni Thöny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Mauritz Barbey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Anton Loose left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wootton Bassett City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The supporters of Looe FC booed when Wootton Bassett City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Batliner didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Wootton Bassett City fully deserved thier win.
