Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benjamin Ballweber kicked off to start the match. Marcus Wachter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Riegler in the 4th minute. The supporters of Yateley booed when Muron Union was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sele Arpagaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mike Oberlecher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yasar Spescha in the 13th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yasar Spescha in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mike Oberlecher saved Yateley from getting behind. Yateley's Julien Riegler got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mike Oberlecher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yasar Spescha , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Yateley's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Ballweber came free, but Mike Oberlecher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Yateley's Roman Bürzle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Wachter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Roman Bürzle came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Yateley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Bürzle couldn't finish the play. Marcus Wachter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Bürzle's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Muron Union's goalkeeper Marcus Wachter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Riegler. 34 minutes into the match, Muron Union's Yasar Spescha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mike Oberlecher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Gökhan Wille hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roman Bürzle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Sele Arpagaus put in a rough tackle. Sele Arpagaus hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Julien Reiber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute of the match, Roman Bürzle tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcus Wachter saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roman Bürzle made a kick off. If Roman Bürzle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Enis Heeb fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muron Union's protests and gave Enis Heeb a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Muron Union getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Enis Heeb hit a great ball. Muron Union's Marcus Wachter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Bürzle in the 59th minute of play. Marcus Wachter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Bürzle in the 63rd minute of play. Yasar Spescha struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Mike Oberlecher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muron Union. In the 70th minute, Marcus Riegler made a precise shot to the right of Marcus Wachter. Muron Union's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Bürzle in the 79th minute of play forced Muron Union's goalkeeper Marcus Wachter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
