After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Victor Frick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wootton Bassett City's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Frick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niccolo Roy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonio Zurflüh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Wootton Bassett City's Victor Frick nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niccolo Roy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Antoni Thöny struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Niccolo Roy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wootton Bassett City. Niccolo Roy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Thöny in the 22nd minute of the match. When Antoni Thöny came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Wootton Bassett City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antoni Thöny couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Bude City getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Kain Fischer hit a great ball. When Oskar Brennwald fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bude City's protests and gave Oskar Brennwald a yellow card for diving instead. Thomas Batliner scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niccolo Roy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Bude City's zone, Victor Frick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niccolo Roy came out of the goal and Victor Frick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bude City's Niccolo Roy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Batliner in the 43rd minute of play. Niccolo Roy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredi Schädler in the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of Wootton Bassett City booed when Bude City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Detlef Banda didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Frick to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Havel Zäch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bude City and the Wootton Bassett City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bude City's Havel Zäch got a free kick in the 51st minute. Bude City's Niccolo Roy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Frick in the 62nd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Wootton Bassett City's corner Noah Amadeo Bürzle fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Niccolo Roy quite easily take care of the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Fredi Schädler recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Niccolo Roy. Fredi Schädler showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After having played for 71 minutes, Kain Fischer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bude City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kain Fischer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Bude City's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Batliner came free, but Niccolo Roy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Batliner got free with Niccolo Roy in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bude City's Niccolo Roy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Bude City from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kain Fischer in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincente Vazquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
