Emilian Steiner hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 4 minutes of play, Chuchibühel's Arkadiusz Piesciuk made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The referee ignored Chuchibühel's protests and gave Baldomiro Aballe a yellow card for diving instead. Baldomiro Aballe kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Arkadiusz Piesciuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Marcellus Bächler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Baldomiro Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Eberle kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Marcellus Bächler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiusz Piesciuk in the 24th minute of play. Marcellus Bächler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkadiusz Piesciuk in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Lytham's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Piesciuk came free, but Marcellus Bächler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Hanspeter Ilic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chuchibühel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hanspeter Ilic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arkadiusz Piesciuk in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcellus Bächler saved Lytham from getting behind. Maxence Michel hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Marcellus Bächler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arkadiusz Piesciuk's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Chuchibühel's Kjell Söderberg got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivan Heller kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emilian Steiner to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Piesciuk in the 52nd minute of play forced Lytham's goalkeeper Marcellus Bächler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjell Söderberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Marcellus Bächler made a huge save. Kjell Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcellus Bächler having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Raphael Wollstadt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lytham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chuchibühel the free kick. In the 64th minute, Raphael Wollstadt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chuchibühel made a substitution. Thibau Van Dongel replaced Hanspeter Ilic. After 65 played minutes Lytham got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Wollstadt. 66 minutes into the match, Lytham's goalkeeper Marcellus Bächler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arkadiusz Piesciuk. After having played for 67 minutes, Baldomiro Aballe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chuchibühel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomiro Aballe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chuchibühel's Lech Markowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilian Steiner in the 69th minute of play. With his leg Marcellus Bächler managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Chuchibühel's Kjell Söderberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Thibau Van Dongel came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Chuchibühel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thibau Van Dongel couldn't finish the play. Marcellus Bächler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkadiusz Piesciuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. A collision led to Lytham getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Raphael Wollstadt hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Thibau Van Dongel notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Lytham's Marcellus Bächler. Marcellus Bächler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcellus Bächler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arkadiusz Piesciuk's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. The audience was convinced that Arkadiusz Piesciuk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcellus Bächler was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. If Baldomiro Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Arkadiusz Piesciuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcellus Bächler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
