Fabian Erne had in the 3rdth minute some difficulties stopping Arkadiusz Piesciuk's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Fabian Erne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arkadiusz Piesciuk went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Kjell Söderberg came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Chuchibühel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjell Söderberg couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute, Fabio Eberle made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Erne. FC Vaduz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Arkadiusz Piesciuks short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Fabian Erne to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Erne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kjell Söderberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Fabian Erne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Fabian Erne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chuchibühel. During the 69th minute of the match Fabian Berthold completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fabian Berthold a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 70th minute, Fabian Berthold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute Arkadiusz Piesciuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Erne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Vaduz's Laurin Rheinberger got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Arkadiusz Piesciuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the FC Vaduz defense, Thibau Van Dongel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Erne. The FC Vaduz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Erne should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Kjell Söderberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chuchibühel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Thibau Van Dongel might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Erne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thibau Van Dongel ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabian Erne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkadiusz Piesciuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thibau Van Dongel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Erne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Chuchibühel walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
