Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Chingford's Ignace Kiener started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chuck Messmer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Beiro went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Marcus Fuchs scored 0-3 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chuck Messmer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Robert Yildiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Fuchs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chuck Messmer having to interfere. Daniel Heid was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Ignace Kiener capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ignace Kiener really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Chuck Messmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Fuchs in the 36th minute of play. Francisco Gilgs short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Daniel Heid to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marcus Fuchs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chuck Messmer having to interfere. After the first half Brierley Hill United were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcus Fuchs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chingford's Francisco Gilg got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcus Fuchss short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Chuck Messmer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Chingford fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Chingford's Ignace Kiener looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ignace Kiener's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Heid read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignace Kiener in the 63rd minute of play forced Brierley Hill United's goalkeeper Daniel Heid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Ignace Kiener put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Heid. Daniel Heid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Gilg in the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to Chingford getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Janning Weber hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the game, Jesaja Walt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chingford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brierley Hill United the free kick. The audience was convinced that Marcus Fuchs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chuck Messmer was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Konstantin Hofmeister hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 85 minutes, Francisco Gilg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chingford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Gilg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th match minute, Brierley Hill United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstantin Hofmeister to maneuver through the defense. André Beiro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Chingford were victorious despite being under pressure from Brierley Hill United for much of the match.
