Brierley Hill United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adib Ovi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 13 minutes into the match, Adib Ovi notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Brierley Hill United's Daniel Heid. Daniel Heid was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabinho Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Heid having to interfere. Adib Ovi succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. After having played for 22 minutes, Adib Ovi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Dortmund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adib Ovi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adib Ovi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Daniel Heid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Adib Ovi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Heid. Daniel Heid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund. In a very dangerous position, a player in Brierley Hill United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! Daniel Heid had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Adib Ovi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Adib Ovi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Heid having to make a save. After 35 minutes, Ulrich Richter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brierley Hill United and the Borussia Dortmund players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Brierley Hill United getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ulrich Richter hit a great ball. Daniel Heid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adib Ovi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adib Ovi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Heid read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Daniel Heid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adib Ovi in the 39th minute of play. Daniel Heid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adib Ovi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Borussia Dortmund's Adib Ovi got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Borussia Dortmund's Constantin Quaderer managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ulrich Richter in the 46 minute of the game. In the 47th minute, Adib Ovi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borussia Dortmund fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when André Beiro made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Borussia Dortmund's Adib Ovi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Heid made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. In the 58th minute, Adib Ovi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Borussia Dortmund made a substitution. Ovidio Bautista replaced Fabinho Tinoco. Daniel Heid came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Borussia Dortmund's Adib Ovi. But to his dismay, Adib Ovi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adib Ovi in the 68th minute of play forced Brierley Hill United's goalkeeper Daniel Heid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Adib Ovi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Daniel Heid was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ovidio Bautista might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Heid. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ovidio Bautista ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Heid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adib Ovi's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 77th minute, Adib Ovi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Heid was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. After 87 minutes of play, Borussia Dortmund's Adib Ovi made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Heid was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute, Adib Ovi made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Heid. Brierley Hill United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-14. 93 minutes into the game, Borussia Dortmund's Ovidio Bautista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Heid made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-15. If Adib Ovi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 97th minute Adib Ovi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Heid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Borussia Dortmund's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
