But to his dismay, Daniel Fürst quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Green United's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Topcu came free, but Kevin Wehrle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecki Meister scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laurin Roch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute, Matthias Wohlwend hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th match minute, Black Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximilian Gantenbein to maneuver through the defense. Damian Tschütscher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ecki Meister to strike the kick off in the second half. Green United's Kevin Wehrle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Green United from getting a goal against them. In the 73rdth minute of the game Adriano Strub who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Town's Laurin Roch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rainer Hörmann in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurin Roch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ecki Meister might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laurin Roch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ecki Meister ran back to his position shaking his head. Kevin Wehrle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Topcu in the 93rd minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
