The Dersim FC fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Dersim FC's Adam Matt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lukas Kathan struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Etienne Meister didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dersim FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Matt in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Etienne Meister saved Bayern Vaduz FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Adam Matt sped through Bayern Vaduz FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Etienne Meister. Etienne Meister made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ulrich Ilic sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Bayern Vaduz FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dersim FC:s goal. Etienne Meister didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lukas Kathan went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. If Flavio Öhri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Bayern Vaduz FC defense, Adam Matt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Etienne Meister. The Bayern Vaduz FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Etienne Meister should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Stefan Büchel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bayern Vaduz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dersim FC the free kick. Stefan Büchel hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Dersim FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Matt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Etienne Meister breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43rd play minutes Flavio Öhri shot 9-0, a short shot which went by Etienne Meister and just under the crossbar into goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 10-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adam Matt made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Bayern Vaduz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lukas Kathan came free, but Etienne Meister reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Dersim FC fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Dersim FC's Adam Matt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The corner led Dersim FC's Flavio Öhri to fire away a dangerous shot which Etienne Meister despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 13-0 became the score in the 65th minute when Adam Matt elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Etienne Meister was left in no man's land by his defense there! 97 minutes into the game, Dersim FC's Adam Matt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Etienne Meister made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 18-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dersim FC fully deserved thier win.
