Valerio Studer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Hilty, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Hans Gren struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Valerio Studer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forst Post . In the 14th minute, Christian Thalmeier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andreas Jauch's late challenge caught a Black Town's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andreas Jauch helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes Forst Post got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Jauch. 23 minutes into the match, Burak Schreiber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rudolf Kobler. Forst Post 's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Burak Schreiber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Burak Schreiber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Peter Nutt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Forst Post 's Rudolf Kobler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burak Schreiber in the 33rd minute of play. After 39 played minutes Black Town got a freekick which was hit by Maximilian Gantenbein. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Town's goalkeeper Valerio Studer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hans Gren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Black Town were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Burak Schreiber to make the kick off. Hans Gren spun around in front of the goal 55 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Black Town's goal. Valerio Studer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Hilty in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burak Schreiber in the 60th minute of play forced Forst Post 's goalkeeper Rudolf Kobler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Hilty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hans Gren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Forst Post 's Rudolf Kobler got control of the ball when Christian Thalmeier tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute, Helmut Pino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Thalmeier got free with Rudolf Kobler in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Klaus-Dieter Rietzler fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Forst Post 's protests and gave Klaus-Dieter Rietzler a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Forst Post getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Klaus-Dieter Rietzler hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Black Town's Fabian Vetsch tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rudolf Kobler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burak Schreiber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Black Town's Dominik Wehrle got a free kick in the 81st minute. Hans Gren took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valerio Studer. Valerio Studer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Hilty in the 89th minute of play forced Black Town's goalkeeper Valerio Studer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Forst Post 's Rudolf Kobler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burak Schreiber in the 91st minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
