In the 6th match minute, Bayern Vaduz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adin Kolbe to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernd Bürzle during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bernd Bürzle hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The supporters of Grüne Kobolde booed when Bayern Vaduz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Büchel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benno Elkuch scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Etienne Meister, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Grüne Kobolde's Benno Elkuch dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hanspeter Fragasso in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julian Schäpper saved Grüne Kobolde from getting behind. Julian Schäpper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hanspeter Fragasso in the 30th minute of the match. Etienne Meister made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Jonas Kolbe sent off a good shot on target. Bayern Vaduz FC's Etienne Meister proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Bayern Vaduz FC from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute, Fabio Willi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Etienne Meister. The goal made the score 3-0. Patric Wohlwend kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Etienne Meister made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Kolbe in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute, Sandro Figueroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Kolbe to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benno Elkuch in the 52nd minute of play forced Bayern Vaduz FC's goalkeeper Etienne Meister to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 played minutes Grüne Kobolde got a freekick which was hit by Benno Elkuch. When Hans Marco fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bayern Vaduz FC's protests and gave Hans Marco a yellow card for diving instead. Bayern Vaduz FC's Etienne Meister played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benno Elkuch in the 71st minute of play. When Yasar Rietzler fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bayern Vaduz FC's protests and gave Yasar Rietzler a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute, Yasar Rietzler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Kolbe in the 80th minute of play forced Bayern Vaduz FC's goalkeeper Etienne Meister to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Etienne Meister showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patric Wohlwend, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Patric Wohlwend had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Etienne Meister. Bayern Vaduz FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patric Wohlwend was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Hans Marco got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 93rd match minute, Bayern Vaduz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Marco to maneuver through the defense. Etienne Meister took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Kolbe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grüne Kobolde's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
