Spectators: 7005 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1350, VIP seats: 100) San Giuliano's Adriano Piermattei started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Armando Schiavio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beppe Giampietro hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Francesco Brunetta managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Giuliano's supporters rose to their feet, but Francesco Brunetta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Attilio Di Campli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabrizio Finocchi made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Fedele Gregori sent off a good shot on target. Davide Rossini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Fabrizio Finocchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Davide Rossini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabrizio Finocchi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Enrico Corvasce kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Attilio Di Campli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Piermattei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lyon2011's Attilio Di Campli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto De Bartolo in the 26th minute of play. If Davide Rossini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davide Rossini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Finocchi having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Davide Rossini in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrizio Finocchi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arrigo Pani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabrizio Finocchi having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Davide Rossini made the kick off in the second half. Fabrizio Finocchi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Lyon2011's Davide Rossini shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After 55 played minutes San Giuliano got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Piermattei. A collision led to Lyon2011 getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alfonso Ali hit a great ball. Davide Rossini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Davide Rossini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Finocchi having to interfere. Adriano Piermattei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davide Rossini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabrizio Finocchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Rossini in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Rossini in the 78th minute of play forced San Giuliano's goalkeeper Fabrizio Finocchi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabrizio Finocchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Rossini in the 88th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Davide Rossini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabrizio Finocchi was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lyon2011 fully deserved thier win.
