Elia Mori kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Flavio De Vincentis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pellicani ROMA's Fulvio Del Grosso didn't even have to move. Monzoro's Anselmo Zangari shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fulvio Del Grosso but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Pellicani ROMA's Fulvio Del Grosso got control of the ball when Ercole Molinaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Pellicani ROMA defense, Flavio De Vincentis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulvio Del Grosso. The Pellicani ROMA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulvio Del Grosso should have stopped the shot. When Diego Esposito came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Pellicani ROMA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Esposito couldn't finish the play. Alvaro De Rossi came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Pellicani ROMA's Armando Di Giandomenico. But to his dismay, Armando Di Giandomenico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ercole Barchiesi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fulvio Del Grosso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Gizzi in the 89th minute of play.
