The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th match minute, Due Maesta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armin Tacco to maneuver through the defense. Carlo Lucchetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armin Tacco, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Dino Di Girolamo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Lucchetti having to interfere. Armin Tacco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After a rather tough play, Due Maesta AFC's Ferdinando Tomei got a free kick in the 28th minute. Cristoforo Di Cola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Biagio Selvaggi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Due Maesta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eraldo Greco to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 35 in the game by Armin Tacco from a close distance when the talented Carlo Lucchetti managed to make a qualified save. Joga Bonito's players were relieved. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Carlo Lucchetti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dino Di Girolamo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Joga Bonito's Carlo Lucchetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Tacco in the 53rd minute of play. Biagio Selvaggi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bianco Molinaro in the 56th minute of the match. Christian Donatelli's late challenge caught a Joga Bonito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Donatelli helped the player get up and apologised. Bianco Molinaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Biagio Selvaggi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Joga Bonito got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Di Campli. Armin Tacco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dino Di Girolamo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Due Maesta AFC's Armin Tacco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlo Lucchetti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Di Girolamo in the 87th minute of play forced Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Carlo Lucchetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Comunardo Piola kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Due Maesta AFC's Dino Di Girolamo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlo Lucchetti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Enrico Mancini stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlo Lucchetti. 2-0. Due Maesta AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
