Frank Antognoni received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amedeo Mucci came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Antognoni slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. Dai Niru FC's Amedeo Mucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Antognoni in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute Ciro Schiavo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Mara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Dai Niru FC's Ciro Schiavo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudio Mara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Dai Niru FC booed when Bagnaia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Fallito didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ciro Schiavo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claudio Mara was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Ciro Schiavo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ciro Schiavo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Dai Niru FC played a much better game than Bagnaia AFC and deserved their victory. The Bagnaia AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
