In a very dangerous position, a player in FenerZambache fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dennis Antonelli in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Picciano saved Renaissance from getting behind. Dennis Antonelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Frank Picciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrico Baratta got free with Alfredo Tullo in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enrico Baratta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Alfredo Tullo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FenerZambache getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Angelo Cappucci hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo De Lorenzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Tullo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo De Lorenzi in the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Dennis Antonelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. FenerZambache's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Antonelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Picciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th match minute, Renaissance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Baratta to maneuver through the defense. Frank Picciano made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Dennis Antonelli sent off a good shot on target. After 69 played minutes FenerZambache got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Cappucci. FenerZambache made a substitution. Alvise Walcher replaced Angelo Cappucci. A collision led to FenerZambache getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Angelo Cappucci hit a great ball. If Amedeo Carulli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Renaissance got a freekick which was hit by Enrico Baratta. Dennis Antonelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. The supporters of FenerZambache booed when Renaissance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Bellomo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
