Spectators: 6680 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alvise Lusi kicked off to start the match. Eraldo Balzani kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 4th minute of the match Enrico Scarano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antonello Rotili skillfully saved the ball. Armando Lucentini scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonello Rotili, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the game, Anthony Bizzarri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borsano AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ombellini the free kick. In the 9th minute, one of Borsano AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Borsano AFC. The referee gave Ombellini a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Enrico Scarano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Borsano AFC's Antonello Rotili. 0-2. Ombellini's Ferdinando Alfonsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Lusi in the 15th minute of play. Ferdinando Alfonsi was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Alvise Lusi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alvise Lusi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Alvise Lusi struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Ferdinando Alfonsi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borsano AFC. After a rather tough play, Ombellini's Francesco Filippini got a free kick in the 29th minute. If Alvise Lusi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvise Lusi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ferdinando Alfonsi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Ombellini's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alvise Lusi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ferdinando Alfonsi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvise Lusi in the 38th minute. After the first half Ombellini were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armando Lucentini to strike the kick off in the second half. Ferdinando Alfonsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvise Lusi in the 60th minute of play. Armando Lucentini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonello Rotili having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Borsano AFC's zone, Daniele Baruffa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonello Rotili came out of the goal and Daniele Baruffa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, Borsano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Lucentini came free, but Antonello Rotili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Armando Lucentini kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antonello Rotili. That made the score 1-3 in the 77 minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Ombellini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Violento to maneuver through the defense. If Alvise Lusi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Ombellini defense, Edoardo Cicchini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdinando Alfonsi. The Ombellini fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferdinando Alfonsi should have stopped the shot. Antonello Rotili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniele Baruffa in the 94th minute. Enrico Scarano charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrico Scarano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 98 minutes, Alvise Lusi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borsano AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvise Lusi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Ombellini supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ombellini would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
