After having played for 11 minutes, Elia Sampo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gambarara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elia Sampo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magreta FC's Emiliano Bearzot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Sampo in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Magreta FC's zone, Andrea Di Iulio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Bearzot came out of the goal and Andrea Di Iulio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrea Di Iulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Magreta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Sampo came free, but Emiliano Bearzot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Anselmo Arioli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magreta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gambarara the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Magreta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Arioli to maneuver through the defense. Elia Sampo scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emiliano Bearzot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute of the match Cosimo Schiavio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emiliano Bearzot skillfully saved the ball. Andrea Di Iulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elia Sampo to strike the kick off in the second half. Magreta FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Elia Sampo scored to the left of an out of position Emiliano Bearzot, making the score, 0-2. In the 59th minute Elia Sampo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Bearzot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Andrea Di Iulio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the game, Camillo Gentile was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gambarara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Magreta FC the free kick. After 67 played minutes Gambarara got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Gentile. After 72nd play minutes Elia Sampo shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Emiliano Bearzot and just under the crossbar into goal. Andrea Di Iulio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Bearzot having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Elia Sampo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Magreta FC's Emiliano Bearzot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th match minute, Magreta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damiano Marulli to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elia Sampo in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Bearzot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alessandro Orsini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmondo Berti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Gambarara could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Magreta FC throughout the match.
