Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Scacciano's Donato Fantozzi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aldo Niccolai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Armando Quattrocchi came out of the goal and Aldo Niccolai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beppe Cardano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Di Matteo having to interfere. Anthony Di Matteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Fantozzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Tartaglia in the 13th minute of play forced a.s.Vittoria's goalkeeper Anthony Di Matteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Beppe Cardano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Elia Banana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Spitaleri charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Spitaleri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 21 minutes into the game, a.s.Vittoria's Aldo Niccolai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Quattrocchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Niccolai in the 24th minute of the match. With a little luck, a.s.Vittoria's Anthony Di Matteo got control of the ball when Beppe Cardano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute, Edoardo Gazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edoardo Gazza made a kick off. Beppe Cardano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edoardo Gazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of a.s.Vittoria booed when Scacciano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Di Mario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Scacciano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edoardo Gazza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 87th minute, Carlo Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 88 minutes, Bruno Di Mario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. a.s.Vittoria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Di Mario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Edoardo Gazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 played minutes Scacciano got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Donato. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Edoardo Gazza managed to get in a good position for a shot. a.s.Vittoria's supporters rose to their feet, but Edoardo Gazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Quattrocchi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
