He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Novedrate reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amedeo Zoccolo made a kick off. If Flavio Addari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandro Pellegrini kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Cesare Giusto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Daniele, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. During the 62nd minute of the match Alessandro Pellegrini completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. After a defensive mix-up in Novedrate's zone, Adriano Iezzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinando Pala came out of the goal and Adriano Iezzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Novedrate's Ferdinando Pala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristoforo Di Piazza in the 84th minute of play. After 84 played minutes Novedrate got a freekick which was hit by Felice Orlandi. 89 minutes into the match, Firenze AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Zoccolo came free, but Cesare Giusto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Novedrate succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Firenze AFC had controlled the match.
