Edmondo Mussi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniele Giandomenico in the 15th minute of the match. With a little luck, Colle Verde FC's Ciccio Gazza got control of the ball when Ennio Torelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Colle Verde FC's Ermanno Garofalo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Amos Trasatti in the 20 minute of the game. In the 22nd minute Dariusz Majdoch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmondo Mussi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Ciccio Gazza managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when SS Quadri's Ennio Torelli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ennio De Cristofaro hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Daniele Giandomenico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colle Verde FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniele Giandomenico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmondo Mussi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ennio Torelli's late challenge caught a Colle Verde FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adriano Biancone made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Ennio Torelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Colle Verde FC booed when SS Quadri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio Torelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colle Verde FC's Dariusz Majdoch got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmondo Mussi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniele Giandomenico in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Dariusz Majdoch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniele Giandomenico's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Edmondo Mussi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 76th match minute, SS Quadri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristoforo Cicchini to maneuver through the defense. Daniele Giandomenico's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Edmondo Mussi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Amos Trasatti made in the 79th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Adriano Biancone however managed to control. Cristoforo Cicchini hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
