Fausto Moschetta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amos Verdone, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Carlo Falone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castel Guelfo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlo Falone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Moschetta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Belfiore in the 13th minute of play forced Torrione Quartara FC's goalkeeper Fausto Moschetta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Castel Guelfo FC got a corner. Torrione Quartara FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ennio Vettori ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Castel Guelfo FC's Ettore Montanari getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Amos Verdone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Moschetta having to interfere. In the 18th minute Fortunato Belfiore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Moschetta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Emanuele Puglielli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Achille Tana in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bianco Puglielli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Achille Tana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bianco Puglielli having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Achille Tana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torrione Quartara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Achille Tana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bianco Puglielli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fortunato Belfiore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto Moschetta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Emanuele Puglielli struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Bianco Puglielli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torrione Quartara FC. After some careless play in the Torrione Quartara FC defense, Fortunato Belfiore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Moschetta. The Torrione Quartara FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Moschetta should have stopped the shot. Amos Verdone succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. 46 minutes into the match, Torrione Quartara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fortunato Belfiore came free, but Fausto Moschetta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Florian Marcolongo hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Carlo Cavallucci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torrione Quartara FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castel Guelfo FC the free kick. After 76 played minutes Torrione Quartara FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Cavallucci. Armin Sivieri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bianco Puglielli. Castel Guelfo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bianco Puglielli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achille Tana in the 82nd minute of play. Castel Guelfo FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
