After 22 played minutes, Lucchese's Demetrio Bravo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aldo Ciarrocchi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lucchese reached it. If Fabio Gismondi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Comunardo Gargano kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elia Corna got free with Aldo Ciarrocchi in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabio Gismondi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aldo Ciarrocchi having to make a save. Elia Corna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Aldo Ciarrocchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th of the match, Fabio Gismondi tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Aldo Ciarrocchi got in the way and made a wonderful save. The supporters of Lucchese booed when StellaRossa★Quattromiglia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Foddis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Gismondi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aldo Ciarrocchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Corna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosimo Gualtieri hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Aldo Ciarrocchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Corna, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Fabio Gismondi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. StellaRossa★Quattromiglia's Aldo Ciarrocchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Gismondi in the 62nd minute of play. Aldo Ciarrocchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Corna in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Fabio Gismondi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lucchese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Gismondi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Elia Corna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aldo Ciarrocchi was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. After having played for 78 minutes, Elia Corna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lucchese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elia Corna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Foddis hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Demetrio Bravo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aldo Ciarrocchi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Beppe Donadoni kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fortunato Filice. That made the score 0-1 in the 84 minute of play. Aldo Ciarrocchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elia Corna in the 92nd minute of the match. When Elia Corna came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Lucchese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elia Corna couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. StellaRossa★Quattromiglia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
