Alessio Quattrocchi hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Comunardo De Iuliis took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ercole Andreassi to make any attempt to save it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florian Pellegrini made a kick off. When Biagio Ascani came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Pietra Marazzi AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Biagio Ascani couldn't finish the play. Ercole Andreassi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pietra Marazzi AFC. After having played for 80 minutes, Biagio Ascani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pietra Marazzi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Biagio Ascani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pietra Marazzi AFC's Comunardo De Iuliis got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 88 minutes of play, Pietra Marazzi AFC's Biagio Ascani made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ercole Andreassi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 94 minutes into the match, Quirico FC's Aldo Di Cesare sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Guerra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Comunardo De Iuliis made a precise shot to the right of Ercole Andreassi. Quirico FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pietra Marazzi AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Quirico FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
