In the 4th minute Demetrio Lio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciccio Ferrario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Ennio Cipolla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Coccolone in the 18th minute of play forced Hrodohaidis Rosa Rossa's goalkeeper Enrico Genta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armin Giordano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Enrico Genta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrico Genta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Coccolone, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Armin Giordano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Enrico Genta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26thth minute of the game Dino Coccolone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hrodohaidis Rosa Rossa's Enrico Genta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bianco Doris hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Dino Coccolone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Hrodohaidis Rosa Rossa getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Augusto Campo hit a great ball. Ferdinando Piccioli has a good long shot, which he once again showed in the 35th minute of the match. Unfortunately the ball hit the outside of the left post. Borsano FC's Dino Coccolone got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enrico Genta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dino Coccolone's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennio Cipolla in the 51st minute of play forced Borsano FC's goalkeeper Ciccio Ferrario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ennio Cipolla to make the kick off. In the 61st minute, Hrodohaidis Rosa Rossa's Demetrio Lio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ciccio Ferrario. Ciccio Ferrario yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After having played for 71 minutes, Dino Coccolone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borsano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Coccolone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Armin Giordano came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Borsano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armin Giordano couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dino Coccolone in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrico Genta saved Hrodohaidis Rosa Rossa from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, Enrico Natale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciccio Ferrario. Borsano FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrico Natale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Dino Coccolone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Enrico Genta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Armin Giordano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrico Genta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dino Coccolone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Genta having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, Borsano FC's goalkeeper Ciccio Ferrario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Demetrio Lio. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hrodohaidis Rosa Rossa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
