In the 33rd minute, Arrigo De Donatis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alessandro Papa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. Marano 1914 Spa's Corrado Di Fiore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Di Rocco in the 42nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alessandro Papa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulvio Santini was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. If Fabrizio De Bartolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Alessandro Papa hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, fae e cecore's goalkeeper Fulvio Santini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arrigo De Donatis. When Arrigo Alfani came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Marano 1914 Spa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arrigo Alfani couldn't finish the play. If Arrigo De Donatis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marano 1914 Spa's Arrigo De Donatis got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. fae e cecore's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alessandro Papa 73 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. Cristoforo Mandelli charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristoforo Mandelli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 84 minutes into the match, fae e cecore's goalkeeper Fulvio Santini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arrigo De Donatis. The supporters of Marano 1914 Spa booed when fae e cecore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Marsilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Diego Costa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and fae e cecore's Fulvio Santini didn't even have to move. After having played for 95 minutes, Fabiano Di Rocco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fae e cecore's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiano Di Rocco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fae e cecore supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Marano 1914 Spa's performance. The match ended with a win for Marano 1914 Spa.
