An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Benarrivo in the 9th minute of play forced Roman FC's goalkeeper Andrea Scacchi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermanno Finocchi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuele Persichetti in the 10th minute. Andrea Scacchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Benarrivo in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Roman FC's Davide Crispino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ermanno Finocchi. Ermanno Finocchi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 19th minute, Emanuele Persichetti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Roman FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 22nd minute of the match, Emanuele Persichetti got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ermanno Finocchi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the Roman FC defense, Antonio Cimino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrea Scacchi. Aldo Benarrivo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Andrea Scacchi made a huge save. In the 74th match minute, Freestyleball was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Cimino to maneuver through the defense.
