Spectators: 6682 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ruslan Malinovski took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Ruslan Malinovski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernesto De Luca was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. After having played for 4 minutes, Daniele Porcu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alessandria AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniele Porcu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Petrucci kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ATALANTA 1907's Ruslan Malinovski got a free kick in the 15th minute. Ernesto De Luca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruslan Malinovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Concetto Crisantemo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto De Luca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruslan Malinovski's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Ruslan Malinovski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernesto De Luca having to make a save. Ruslan Malinovski struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ernesto De Luca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATALANTA 1907. When Luís Muriel came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the ATALANTA 1907 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Muriel couldn't finish the play. Ernesto De Luca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruslan Malinovski in the 38th minute of the match. Enrico Treglia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fedele Barresi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Alessandria AFC booed when ATALANTA 1907 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Petrucci didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Alessandria AFC's Ernesto De Luca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Petrucci in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Ruslan Malinovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd match minute, Alessandria AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Treglia to maneuver through the defense. Enrico Treglia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrico Treglia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fedele Barresi having to make a save. Ruslan Malinovski in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ernesto De Luca, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ernesto De Luca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruslan Malinovski's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Adilson Meireles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto De Luca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Alessandria AFC's Ernesto De Luca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruslan Malinovski in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Ruslan Malinovski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Adilson Meireles notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Alessandria AFC's Ernesto De Luca. Ernesto De Luca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Luís Muriel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Alessandria AFC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Anthony Pollastrini hit a great ball. Angelo Petrucci didn't quite understand what happened when in the 96 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet.
