Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Galciana FC's Claudio Gava got a free kick in the 15th minute. Ettore Ciaccia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Carlo Scudieri skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Anselmo Massaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Carlo Consalvi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Galciana FC booed when Villagio Olandese Mira Maurizio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonello De Lellis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Massaro in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlo Consalvi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Villagio Olandese Mira Maurizio's zone, Dino Loreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlo Consalvi came out of the goal and Dino Loreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlo Consalvi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Massaro's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dennis Borel made a kick off. Carlo Consalvi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Loreto in the 54th minute of the match. Dino Loreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Carlo Consalvi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Galciana FC's Amos Pinti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlo Consalvi. That made the score 0-1 after 59 minutes of play. Carlo Consalvi made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Amos Pinti sent off a good shot on target. When Anselmo Massaro came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Galciana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Massaro couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, Galciana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Ciaccia came free, but Carlo Scudieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 80 minutes on the clock, Claudio Gava commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When Donato Casadei fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villagio Olandese Mira Maurizio's protests and gave Donato Casadei a yellow card for diving instead. Donato Casadei hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match.
