Sorrivoli's Federico Granato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Briganti in the 23rd minute of play. Federico Granato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Briganti in the 25th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sorrivoli's zone, Bernardo Briganti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Granato came out of the goal and Bernardo Briganti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrico Melis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 31st playminute. Enrico Melis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrio Ranalli having to interfere. Enrico Melis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sorrivoli's zone, Alvise Masciarelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Granato came out of the goal and Alvise Masciarelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Federico Granato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Briganti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Briganti took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Federico Granato. Federico Granato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabio Santucci to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Sorrivoli's Fortunato Guerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Demetrio Ranalli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Federico Granato successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Enrico Melis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Sorrivoli's Federico Granato got control of the ball when Bernardo Briganti tried to sneak it across the goal line.
