REAL GNUMRIDD got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Contaldi. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anguillara's goalkeeper Angelo Moriggi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfonso Valcareggi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Aloisi in the 39th minute of play. Alfonso Valcareggi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Stella, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Franco Barbato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlo Stella stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dennis Gentili during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes Anguillara got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Gentili. Angelo Moriggi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franco Barbato went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Angelo Moriggi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Barbato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvise Proietti charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvise Proietti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Anguillara booed when F.C. REAL GNUMRIDD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvise Proietti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anguillara's Angelo Moriggi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Barbato in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, F.C. REAL GNUMRIDD's goalkeeper Alfonso Valcareggi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Attilio Aloisi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Proietti in the 80th minute of play forced Anguillara's goalkeeper Angelo Moriggi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Ernesto Di Girolamo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Franco Barbato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Florian Bonfigli fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anguillara's protests and gave Florian Bonfigli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Anguillara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Bonfigli to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the game, F.C. REAL GNUMRIDD's Alvise Proietti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Moriggi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. F.C. REAL GNUMRIDD's Franco Barbato got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that F.C. REAL GNUMRIDD were the better team. F.C. REAL GNUMRIDD's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
