Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Elia Finocchi kicked off to start the match. Davide Villani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fortunato Castagna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Ciro Bottaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Castagna having to interfere. Fortunato Castagna came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Diolaguardia FC's Ciro Bottaro. But to his dismay, Ciro Bottaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fortunato Castagna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Bottaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Fortunato Castagna came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Diolaguardia FC's Davide Villani. But to his dismay, Davide Villani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Davide Villani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diolaguardia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Villani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fortunato Castagna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ciro Bottaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ciro Bottaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Fortunato Castagna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Davide Villani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Davide Villani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ciro Bottaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 minutes of play, Diolaguardia FC's Davide Villani made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fortunato Castagna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fortunato Castagna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Villani in the 58th minute of play. Ciro Bottaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Fortunato Castagna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd play minute Ciro Bottaro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fortunato Castagna. 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Diolaguardia FC's zone, Elia Finocchi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Pagliuca came out of the goal and Elia Finocchi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciro Bottaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Castagna having to interfere. With a little luck, ASD Molinella 1911's Fortunato Castagna got control of the ball when Ciro Bottaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carmine Conforti's late challenge caught a Diolaguardia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmine Conforti helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in ASD Molinella 1911's zone, Davide Villani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fortunato Castagna came out of the goal and Davide Villani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind ASD Molinella 1911's goalkeeper Fortunato Castagna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ciro Bottaro came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Diolaguardia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Bottaro couldn't finish the play. Diolaguardia FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
