When Dario Scandella fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villalta FC's protests and gave Dario Scandella a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Villalta FC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Scandella. In the 33rd minute of the match Fortunato Fagnani sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexsandro Moura skillfully saved the ball. Emilio Piano got his second yellow card in the match during the 33rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Rocchetti in the 45th minute of play forced Villalta FC's goalkeeper Alexsandro Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elia Di Renzo to make the kick off. Carter Cameli's late challenge caught a Hobbit's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carter Cameli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th minute, Carter Cameli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elia Di Renzo in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enzo Fiorentino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute, Enrico Rocchetti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hobbit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 72nd minute Demetrio Rapone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexsandro Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Fiorentino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elia Di Renzo's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After 83 played minutes Villalta FC got a freekick which was hit by Carter Cameli. After a defensive mix-up in Hobbit's zone, Elia Di Renzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Fiorentino came out of the goal and Elia Di Renzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Villalta FC fully deserved thier win.
