The mood of the audience was pleasant when Antonello Albani made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd match minute, Villalta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonello Zisser to maneuver through the defense. Villalta FC's Elia Di Renzo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 6th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Elia Di Renzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 11 minutes into the game, Elia Di Renzo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cosimo Marcantonio. Elia Di Renzo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Elia Di Renzo had several of the FC Südtirol's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Cosimo Marcantonio as he didn't even see the shot coming. Elia Di Renzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elia Di Renzo got free with Cosimo Marcantonio in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexsandro Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonello Albani in the 24th minute of play. Antonello Albani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Antonello Albani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexsandro Moura. Villalta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonello Albani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Donato Bergomi scored 3-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexsandro Moura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emilio Piano kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Idacio Belalcaraz put in a rough tackle. 41 minutes into the game, one of Villalta FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave FC Südtirol a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bruno Campoli, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Villalta FC's Alexsandro Moura. 3-3. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-3 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elia Di Renzo to make the kick off. The Villalta FC fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Villalta FC's Elia Di Renzo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 85th match minute, Villalta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Scandella to maneuver through the defense. Alexsandro Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonello Albani in the 91st minute of the match. Donato Bussi charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Bussi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Südtirol getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Donato Bussi hit a great ball. Donato Bergomi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Moura having to interfere. Alexsandro Moura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Bergomi in the 97th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Villalta FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Südtirol had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
