The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Rossi got free with Carsten Schüpfer in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Carsten Schüpfer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Christian Rossi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carsten Schüpfer. Christian Rossi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Christian Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Anfilogino Piccone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Campogalliano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Christian Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Corrado Melis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Abadia, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Kakagol's Saverio Abadia got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 38 minutes, Christian Zinni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kakagol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Zinni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carsten Schüpfer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Fulvio Salvucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Concetto Di Maio made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Marcolongo in the 51st minute of play forced Kakagol's goalkeeper Carsten Schüpfer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 51st minute, Saverio Abadia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anfilogino Piccone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carsten Schüpfer having to interfere. Anfilogino Piccone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 83 minutes, Christian Rossi made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kakagol's Carsten Schüpfer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Anfilogino Piccone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kakagol's zone, Anselmo Marcolongo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carsten Schüpfer came out of the goal and Anselmo Marcolongo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Anfilogino Piccone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carsten Schüpfer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Kakagol's Carsten Schüpfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Rossi in the 94th minute of play. Carsten Schüpfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anfilogino Piccone in the 97th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Campogalliano FC fully deserved thier win.
