After a defensive mix-up in Kakagol's zone, Daniele Limitone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carsten Schüpfer came out of the goal and Daniele Limitone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alberto Lusi came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the powershoot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Lusi couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Kakagol's zone, Alberto Lusi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carsten Schüpfer came out of the goal and Alberto Lusi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniele Limitone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Carsten Schüpfer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lóránt Ábrahám during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, powershoot's Lóránt Ábrahám got a free kick in the 18th minute. Boudewijn Pepping kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Edmondo Di Pietro fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored powershoot's protests and gave Edmondo Di Pietro a yellow card for diving instead. Carsten Schüpfer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute, Alberto Lusi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The powershoot fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A collision led to Kakagol getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Saverio Abadia hit a great ball. Christian Zinni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Concetto Di Maio to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play powershoot's Edmondo Di Pietro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes into the game, powershoot's Daniele Limitone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carsten Schüpfer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Alberto Lusi might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carsten Schüpfer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Lusi ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Kakagol's Saverio Abadia got a free kick in the 64th minute. Daniele Limitone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Carsten Schüpfer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniele Limitone in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carsten Schüpfer saved Kakagol from getting behind. Kakagol's Carsten Schüpfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Lusi in the 87th minute of play. If Alberto Lusi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 minutes of play, powershoot's Daniele Limitone made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carsten Schüpfer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Saverio Abadia hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kakagol players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for powershoot.
