Federico Bravo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Pezzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alessio Toninelli in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alessio Felli saved Cormano from getting behind. After having played for 29 minutes, Anthony Panino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cormano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthony Panino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armando Mansueto took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alessio Felli. Alessio Felli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 38th minute, Alberigo Amatori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessio Toninelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio Felli having to interfere. Alessio Toninelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Alessio Felli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alessio Toninelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domenico Pezzi to make the kick off. Sarbia's Federico Bravo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Panino in the 70th minute of play. Domenico Pezzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Federico Bravo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Demetrio Ferrini fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cormano's protests and gave Demetrio Ferrini a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cormano getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Demetrio Ferrini hit a great ball. Cormano's Alessio Felli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Cormano from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute Anthony Panino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Bravo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Anthony Panino came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Cormano fans jumped to their feet. Damiano Mastrocola's late challenge caught a Sarbia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damiano Mastrocola helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sarbia booed when Cormano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damiano Mastrocola didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Alessio Toninelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarbia's supporters rose to their feet, but Alessio Toninelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessio Felli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
