After a rather tough play, Celincordia 2's Alberigo Di Croce got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Filippo Cusumano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Celincordia 2's Fabio Massimi in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calabria AS U25's goalie prevented a goal. When Fabio Massimi came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Celincordia 2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Massimi couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Calabria AS U25's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Napoleone came free, but Arrigo Ferrante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrico Napoleone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arrigo Ferrante having to interfere. Filippo Cusumano charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filippo Cusumano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Calabria AS U25 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filippo Cusumano to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Enrico Napoleone notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Calabria AS U25's Arrigo Ferrante. Arrigo Ferrante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Calabria AS U25 getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Eugenio Napoleone hit a great ball. Arrigo Ferrante came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Celincordia 2's Fabio Massimi. But to his dismay, Fabio Massimi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Fabio Massimi struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Arrigo Ferrante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celincordia 2. 36 minutes into the match, Calabria AS U25's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Napoleone came free, but Arrigo Ferrante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Massimi might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arrigo Ferrante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabio Massimi ran back to his position shaking his head. Arrigo Ferrante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Napoleone in the 39th minute of the match. In the 46thth minute of the game Enrico Napoleone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calabria AS U25's Arrigo Ferrante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Biagio Sivieri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Enrico Napoleone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Massimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Arrigo Ferrante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arrigo Ferrante made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Fabio Massimi sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Arrigo Ferrante managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Celincordia 2's Fabio Massimi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Fabio Massimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrico Napoleone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Calabria AS U25's goalkeeper Arrigo Ferrante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Di Toro. After 88 minutes, Alexander Avesani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calabria AS U25 and the Celincordia 2 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Calabria AS U25 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! Arrigo Ferrante had in the 90thth minute some difficulties stopping Aurelio Lucchetti's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Celincordia 2's Enrico Napoleone got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arrigo Ferrante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Napoleone in the 99th minute of the match. When the match was over Celincordia 2 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Calabria AS U25 throughout the match.
