Ciro Corna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Mancini went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute, Parma Calcio 1913's Diego Alfonsi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Anfilogino Campoli might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fedele Manzoni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anfilogino Campoli ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Torrione Rossignoli's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Alfonsi came free, but Ciro Corna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fedele Manzoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Campoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 38th match minute, Parma Calcio 1913 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Staniscia to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Alfonsi in the 44th minute of play forced Torrione Rossignoli's goalkeeper Ciro Corna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Mancini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Corna having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Diego Alfonsi made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Alex Mancini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parma Calcio 1913's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Mancini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Corna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciro Palmucci during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Torrione Rossignoli getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ciro Palmucci hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Alfonsi during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
