Spectators: 7286 (Terracing: 5467, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) Attilio Travaglini started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Attilio Travaglini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Carafa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damiano Mosca kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th play minute Anselmo Spada came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Franco Contestabile. 1-0. If Attilio Travaglini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 minutes of play, Prospiano FC's Attilio Travaglini made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Carafa was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ennio De Lucia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Carafa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attilio Travaglini, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Ennio De Lucia hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Travaglini in the 32nd minute of play forced Proraso F.C.'s goalkeeper Armando Carafa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, Proraso F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio De Lucia to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Proraso F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fabrizio Forlano came free, but Armando Carafa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Attilio Travaglini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Attilio Travaglini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Carafa was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. If Fabrizio Forlano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 47 minutes, Fabrizio Forlano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prospiano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrizio Forlano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Spada made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Prospiano FC's Attilio Travaglini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Carafa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabrizio Forlano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Carafa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Attilio Travaglini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Carafa. Proraso F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Attilio Travaglini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Fabrizio Forlano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Carafa having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Prospiano FC's Attilio Travaglini ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armando Carafa. Armando Carafa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. With his leg Armando Carafa managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Prospiano FC's Fabrizio Forlano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 79 minutes of play, Prospiano FC's Fabrizio Forlano made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Carafa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabrizio Forlano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabrizio Forlano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Carafa having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Dino Baggio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Proraso F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Prospiano FC the free kick. When the match was over Prospiano FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Proraso F.C. throughout the match.
