In the 3rd minute, Proraso F.C.'s Filippo Guarrera seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Filippo Guarrera the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Proraso F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Filippo Guarrera had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Proraso F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Casalvolone FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Casalvolone FC's Dino Romano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Armando Carafa. The crowd rose to their feet as Casalvolone FC's Andrea Stellato slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Armando Carafa. That made the score 2-0 after 8 minutes of play. Andrea Stellato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ennio De Lucia fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Proraso F.C.'s protests and gave Ennio De Lucia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Casalvolone FC booed when Proraso F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio De Lucia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Carafa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 14th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dino Romano. Andrea Stellato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Armando Carafa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrea Stellato took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Carafa. Armando Carafa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Andrea Stellato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrea Stellato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Armando Carafa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Andrea Stellato in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Elia Petrella who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Armando Carafa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Elia Petrella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Stellato in the 42nd minute of play forced Proraso F.C.'s goalkeeper Armando Carafa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrea Stellato was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Casalvolone FC got a corner. Proraso F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dino Romano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dino Romano made a great header on Casalvolone FC's corner, it was just that Proraso F.C.'s Armando Carafa managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrea Stellato in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Carafa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amerigo Colecchia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elia Petrella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Casalvolone FC booed when Proraso F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Baggio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Carafa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Stellato, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Amerigo Colecchia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Scarpone having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Proraso F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Andrea Stellato came free, but Armando Carafa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Casalvolone FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amerigo Colecchia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 82 minutes into the match, Andrea Stellato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Carafa. Proraso F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrea Stellato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Armando Carafa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elia Petrella in the 87th minute of the match. Armando Carafa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elia Petrella went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Dino Romano's late challenge caught a Proraso F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dino Romano helped the player get up and apologised. 95 minutes into the game, one of Casalvolone FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ettore Miccio shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal.
