Denis Goorts started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Denis Goorts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC VICTORIA LIPOVA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Edoardo Di Giandomenico kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Domenico La Marca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlo Porta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 11 minute of play. Denis Goorts hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Amos Petrella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Goorts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Korneliusz Naujasodis might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amos Petrella. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Korneliusz Naujasodis ran back to his position shaking his head. Edoardo Di Giandomenico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Arezzo FC's Dino Fabrizio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Domenico La Marca. That made the score 3-1 after 30 minutes of play. After 33 played minutes Arezzo FC got a freekick which was hit by Ennio Strano. Denis Goorts might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amos Petrella. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Goorts ran back to his position shaking his head. After 40 minutes of play, FC VICTORIA LIPOVA's Denis Goorts made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amos Petrella was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 44 played minutes Arezzo FC got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Pompilio. After having played for 45 minutes, Edoardo Di Giandomenico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC VICTORIA LIPOVA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edoardo Di Giandomenico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlo Porta to strike the kick off in the second half. Domenico La Marca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Fabrizio in the 56th minute of the match. Emiliano Mazzini hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Porta in the 65th minute of play forced FC VICTORIA LIPOVA's goalkeeper Domenico La Marca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Arezzo FC booed when FC VICTORIA LIPOVA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Sjöman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciro Castelli kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Denis Goorts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Alex Donadoni charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Donadoni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alex Donadoni hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Domenico La Marca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Fabrizio in the 85th minute of the match. The FC VICTORIA LIPOVA fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when FC VICTORIA LIPOVA's Denis Goorts looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC VICTORIA LIPOVA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
