After 11 minutes, Carlo Picciano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Senegal f.c and the Ercolano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, one of Senegal f.c:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Senegal f.c. Cristoforo Candeloro shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Alfonso Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Orsini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Orsini, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Ennio Bozzelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ennio Bozzelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Miranda having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Ercolano's goal looked a bit too open when Fortunato Sciotto came free, but Felice Braccia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franco Ciapponi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Braccia having to interfere. After 28 minutes, Florian Mannella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Senegal f.c and the Ercolano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Senegal f.c's Florian Mannella got a free kick in the 28th minute. Franco Ciapponi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Felice Braccia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Fortunato Sciotto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felice Braccia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ennio Bozzelli struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Alfonso Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ercolano. Senegal f.c's Alfonso Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Orsini in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Ercolano's Ennio Bozzelli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonso Miranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 45 minutes of play Senegal f.c's Florian Mannella was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Cristiano Pantano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Felice Braccia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Florian Menichini fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ercolano's protests and gave Florian Menichini a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ercolano's Florian Menichini got a free kick in the 60th minute. Antonio Calabrese was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Franco Ciapponi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Alex Orsini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ercolano's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Orsini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Senegal f.c's Alfonso Miranda got control of the ball when Ennio Bozzelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amedeo Novella charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amedeo Novella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th match minute, Senegal f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Novella to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Ercolano's Cristoforo Candeloro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Florian Menichini came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Ercolano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florian Menichini couldn't finish the play. Amedeo Novella hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Ennio Bozzelli got the audiences attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 84th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. Alex Orsini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Alfonso Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Senegal f.c's Carlo Picciano got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Carlo Picciano off the ground. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Senegal f.c! A hard, long distance shot from Fortunato Sciotto flew over the goal. Alfonso Ciolli's late challenge caught a Senegal f.c's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Ciolli helped the player get up and apologised. After 99 played minutes Ercolano got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Ciolli.
