Spectators: 6699 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Enrico Miconi started the match with the kick off. In the 11th minute, Davide Luzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Mussi's late challenge caught a Saletta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Mussi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, Molino Nuovo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Mussi to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Molino Nuovo AFC's goalkeeper Concetto Formaggio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosimo Boccanera. 17 minutes into the match, Saletta's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Avesani came free, but Fedele Di Palma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fedele Di Palma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesare Avesani, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Cristoforo Spagnuolo struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Concetto Formaggio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saletta. After a rather tough play, Molino Nuovo AFC's Bianco Di Vincenzo got a free kick in the 27th minute. Cristoforo Spagnuolo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Concetto Formaggio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosimo Boccanera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Concetto Formaggio having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Cristoforo Spagnuolo rounded Molino Nuovo AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Concetto Formaggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Spagnuolo in the 43rd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristoforo Spagnuolo made a kick off. When Enrico Miconi came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Molino Nuovo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrico Miconi couldn't finish the play. Cesare Avesani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Di Palma having to interfere. Concetto Formaggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Boccanera in the 59th minute of play. Cesare Avesani's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fedele Di Palma firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Ferruccio Di Fabrizio fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saletta's protests and gave Ferruccio Di Fabrizio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Saletta getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ferruccio Di Fabrizio hit a great ball. When Camillo Garibaldi fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Molino Nuovo AFC's protests and gave Camillo Garibaldi a yellow card for diving instead. Alvaro Maccioni didn't quite understand what happened when in the 71 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Cosimo Boccanera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Concetto Formaggio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Molino Nuovo AFC defense, Cristoforo Spagnuolo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Concetto Formaggio. The Molino Nuovo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Concetto Formaggio should have stopped the shot. Molino Nuovo AFC's Cesare Avesani got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Molino Nuovo AFC's Biagio Bianchi got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Enrico Miconi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Fedele Di Palma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Cristoforo Spagnuolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Formaggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bianco Di Vincenzo charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bianco Di Vincenzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristoforo Spagnuolo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristoforo Spagnuolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Saletta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
