When Saletta's Davide Luzi in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Molino Nuovo AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Concetto Formaggio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoforo Spagnuolo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Concetto Formaggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Boccanera in the 7th minute of play. Cosimo Boccanera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Concetto Formaggio having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Molino Nuovo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristoforo Spagnuolo came free, but Concetto Formaggio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrico Miconi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Saletta's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Miconi came free, but Fedele Di Palma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Enrico Miconi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrico Miconi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Cosimo Boccanera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Concetto Formaggio. Molino Nuovo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosimo Boccanera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Saletta's zone, Enrico Miconi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fedele Di Palma came out of the goal and Enrico Miconi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute Saletta were awarded a corner. Amos Cerasoli went to the cornerflag to take it. Saletta's Amos Cerasoli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Concetto Formaggio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Fedele Di Palma successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fedele Di Palma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesare Avesani in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Ferruccio Di Fabrizio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saletta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Molino Nuovo AFC the free kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Camillo Garibaldi's late challenge caught a Saletta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camillo Garibaldi helped the player get up and apologised. Fedele Di Palma came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Molino Nuovo AFC's Enrico Miconi. But to his dismay, Enrico Miconi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Molino Nuovo AFC's Concetto Formaggio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Molino Nuovo AFC from getting a goal against them. Saletta's Fedele Di Palma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesare Avesani in the 64th minute of play. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Enrico Miconi sped through Saletta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fedele Di Palma. Bianco Di Vincenzo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Enrico Miconi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Fedele Di Palma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristoforo Spagnuolo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Concetto Formaggio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Saletta's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
