Spectators: 6672 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alfredo Forte made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 4 minutes, Alvise Pagliuca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gladiatore Soccer Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvise Pagliuca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pietra La Croce's Fabio Bulla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermanno Bulla in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Alfredo Forte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ermanno Bulla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Bulla having to interfere. Fabio Bulla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvise Pagliuca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Ermanno Bulla put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fabio Bulla. After a rather tough play, Gladiatore Soccer Club's Alvise Pagliuca got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 33 played minutes Pietra La Croce got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Fontana. Ermanno Bulla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvise Pagliuca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Fabio Bulla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Ermanno Bulla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 48 minutes of play, Gladiatore Soccer Club's Ermanno Bulla made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Bulla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvise Pagliuca was the one to do the kick off. Ettore Chiarelli's late challenge caught a Pietra La Croce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ettore Chiarelli helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes Gladiatore Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Chiarelli. In the 73rd minute, Gladiatore Soccer Club's Ermanno Bulla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Gladiatore Soccer Club's Ettore Chiarelli got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Ettore Chiarelli off the ground. After 79 minutes, Domenico Fontana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pietra La Croce and the Gladiatore Soccer Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. 83 minutes into the match, Pietra La Croce's goalkeeper Fabio Bulla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ermanno Bulla. In the 84th match minute, Pietra La Croce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenico Fontana to maneuver through the defense. Ermanno Bulla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Fabio Bulla made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Pietra La Croce's zone, Ermanno Bulla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Bulla came out of the goal and Ermanno Bulla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Gladiatore Soccer Club players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
